Sugar and Spice is an Early Learning Centre, an educational establishment offering a learning space to children through play, to foster a love for learning, experimentation and exploration, before they begin their formal education at Primary School.

Our Principal:
Vanessa Meredith is an ECD Foundation Phase teacher, who has been in the field of Early Childhood Education going on 16 years, including running her own pre-school in Johannesburg before relocating to beautiful Cape Town a few years ago.

Vanessa has taken up the reigns of our enthusiastic Pre-School class, the Jelly Beans, and believes that children learn through many mediums, but is passionate about teaching through Art and Creativity.
Vanessa is quoted often saying: ‘A child must get dirty, it is through this medium that they learn the most; Mud Play, Water Play and Finger Painting bring much joy, laughter, happiness, peace and love, creating a happy space for children to thrive.’
